Welcome to the Cornerstone Parent Board Site

As the only parent participation elementary school in PVPUSD, Cornerstone School at Pedregal was founded by families committed to the education of its student body through the parent-teacher partnership and is one of the few schools in the district to have a Booster Club in addition to a PTA. In conjunction with Cornerstone families, faculty, and staff, the Booster Club pays for the majority of the programs and enrichment that go above and beyond the traditional elementary school experience, such as performing arts, music, educational supplies, Art at Your Fingertips, Year Of, field trips, Science Night, Back to School Bash, and countless others. They are made possible through the generous donations of our Cornerstone Cougar families and our community business partners. 

We can't do this without your help! Active parent and teacher involvement is one of the many reasons why Cornerstone is such a strong school. Parents, teachers, and anyone else interested in supporting our programs are encouraged to: 

1.  Donate to the Cornerstone Booster Club (tiers ranging from $150-450 per student) 

2. Join the Cornerstone PTA (annual dues of $15 per person) 

3. Make a donation to the Peninsula Education Foundation 

4. Volunteer their time on one of our many committees 

5. Attend our four general PTA meetings during the year (August, October, January, and April)

If all of our families donated $356 per student, we would meet our budget for the year and not have to do any additional fundraising!

Thanks to our fundraisers, committees, and countless volunteer hours, the Parent Board is able to promote quality education by:

• Providing curriculum support and the latest technology for our teachers and students

• Offering a variety of student enrichment programs

• Encouraging parent and community involvement within our school, and much more
